New Project Announcement: Weiss Technik UK
Optimum PPS are pleased to announce a new ERP project with Weiss Technik UK. We are really delighted to be working with the Managing Director Malcolm Youll again, having worked with him on projects previously at Petainer and Samson Materials Handling.
The Weiss Technik group are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of equipment for environmental simulation, heat technology, and air conditioning technology. Weiss are part of the €1.2bn turnover Schunk Group, head quartered in Germany.

Weiss Technik UK are implementing SAP Business One in line with the Group IT strategy. We have been engaged to help them with a few different aspects of the project:
- Work with the UK business teams to define best practice To Be ways of working across People, Process and Systems
- Work with Group IT to carry out a Gap Fit analysis of the UK To Be versus the standard Group ERP solution
- Project management and change management of the ERP implementation as well as assistance with solution design and data migration
Weiss Technik UK employs a team of around 40 people in their Loughborough site. They have a long-standing reputation as a trusted supplier to many well-known names including PepsiCo, Mercedes F1 & Airbus.
