We’re excited to be kicking off a new project with a leading social care developer and provider, Turning Point Scotland. Turning Point Scotland is at the forefront of evidence-based service development, innovating service models and delivery to support people’s needs. They deliver support in a person-centred and practical way, through providing structured and individually tailored approaches. Supporting people to build their confidence and life skills to meet their own goals.
Turning Point Scotland were introduced to Optimum PPS when they started to speak to technology vendors whilst exploring their options regarding replacing their legacy Care Services system. Through conversations it was recognised that they needed some independent and impartial consultancy to help shape and scope their system requirements whilst reviewing and improving their business processes and ways of working for the future.
Optimum PPS have a strong track record in the not for profit and charity sectors and so can bring that depth and breadth of sector knowledge and experience to the fore to help transform the Care Services function within Turning Point Scotland. A large part of our business comes from referrals, and we really do take pride in having great relationships with both clients and technology vendors and are delighted when they introduce us to others in need of our help.
“Turning Point Scotland is a leading social care provider and developer specialising in supporting people facing the most complex and challenging situations nationwide.
As an organisation supporting vulnerable people using evidence-based service innovations, it’s vital we use high quality technology and bespoke systems to underpin the support we offer to people.
Offering transparency through impartial consultancy and a breadth of support, Optimum PPS has given us reassurance in finding the right solution for our care services system.
Optimum PPS took time to learn about our organisation and the unique complexities we face. This, coupled with their experience of working with similar organisations has given us the confidence and tools we needed to innovate our current systems successfully.”
Craig Winter, Director of Business Development
With aging legacy & bespoke systems using old technology and not being mobile friendly, Turning Point Scotland knew they needed to move the organisation forward onto a more modern ecosystem to support them now and for the future. After engaging in conversation with us, they really liked our approach and methodology and team fit. They really felt our desire to do only what’s best for their organisation and how we work as an extension to their team. They felt in good hands as Optimum were able to offer all elements they were looking for from a consultancy partner across the end-to-end project lifecycle. So not only do we help with the scoping and system selection, but we can also help through the implementation phase to deliver the new system and business processes effectively into the organisation whether that be project management, solution management, change management or a combination of all those skillsets. We are proud to have a great range and depth of experience within Optimum to allow us to support our clients through every stage of their project and truly be partners for change:
- Requirements & Scoping
- System Selection
- Implementation
- Optimisation
Turning Point Scotland have engaged Optimum for a Requirements & System Selection exercise. The first stage involves reviewing processes and ways of working across the diverse ranges of services and surfacing improvement opportunities, then translating business needs into system requirements. We will then use our System Selection methodology and toolset combined with our not-for-profit and social care expertise plus market knowledge to help identify the best fit Care Management system for their needs.
Turning Point Scotland offer a wide variety of services including across Learning Disability, Alcohol and other drugs, Mental Health, Huntington’s disease, Justice, Homeless & Prevention and Autism.
