We’ve recently had the pleasure of working in collaboration with the team at Integrated Service Solutions (ISS) supporting them with an ERP system and process roll out. Following a recent company acquisition, ISS had a requirement to align business processes, system usage, and ways of working as much as possible across their 3 packing sites: Teynham, Linton, and Sittingbourne in Kent.
The ISS team were keen to engage with Optimum for our breadth of knowledge as independent ERP consultants, and also for our flexibility and ability to help across a number of areas to expedite the work and compliment the experience of their own team. They knew they could count on us to be a trusted system implementation partner to roll our sleeves up and get stuck in to help them deliver their project successfully.

We took a leading role across the training development, training delivery and training management required for the system and associated process changes rollout. Alongside this we also provided expert business process and ERP consultancy helping to validate ISS’ As Is processes and working with their internal teams to define the To Be processes and ways of working.
Exercises like this work particularly well when the team are really engaged, focussed, and can see the necessity for the change, and this is what we found across the ISS team which made all the difference to the project.
Due to the relatively short timescales involved it was imperative that training was carried out promptly and robustly, and that the teams at the different sites were aligned and supported during the ERP system cutover before next steps. During the workshop stages of the engagement the ISS team had lots of good ideas and a great outlook about how it would be possible to continue to improve processes in the future once the 3 sites were all on the same ERP system. We have recently checked in with the team and they are making good progress with their further optimisation plans.
